Brent Huntsman, Owner & General Manager

Brent Huntsman was born and raised right here in

La Grande Oregon. He graduated from La Grande

High School in 1988, and with a business degree from

Eastern Oregon University in 1995. Brent served a two

year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day

Saints in Seoul, South Korea. Brent married in 1992 to Donna

Davidson, and they have four boys together. Their second

oldest son will serve a church mission in Taiwan. Brent and

his wife also adopted two girls from China, and enjoyed

spending four weeks touring in different regions in China.

Brent and his family live on a hobby farm where they raise

animals, crops, and their six children. They spend a good

amount of their summers working in the garden and orchard,

raising all sorts of fruits, berries and vegetables. They enjoy

watching their children participate in sports, band and choir

concerts, and other activities. They also enjoy camping,

wood-cutting and snow skiing as a family. Brent always

has two or three remodeling projects going on at-a-time

inside the house.Brent earned his Master’s Degree in Business

from EOU, and was the General Manager of a manufacturing

business where he worked for twenty-four years before joining

the Carpet One team in January of 2016.

Lloyd Berry, Owner & Operations Manager

Lloyd Berry is the Operations Manager at Carpet

One Floor & Home in La Grande, OR where he has

worked since October of 1997. He was instrumental

in implementing the RFMS Business Management

system in 1999. Lloyd was responsible for setting up

the new warehouse that was built in La Grande. When

the company built a 2nd store in Enterprise, OR Lloyd

assisted in setting up that store. Lloyd has been responsible

for the training of all employees in the company's systems

and processes. Since 2010 Lloyd has been managing the stores

large commercial projects and has grown this area of the business

significantly. Lloyd has worked side by side with everyone in the

business from sales to installation as well as taking part in many

Carpet One training opportunities and has gained a thorough

understanding of the flooring industry. He is regularly called upon

to help solve installation challenges and prides himself in making

customers happy.

When he’s not at work Lloyd enjoys spending time with his wife,

Rachel and their six children, Jentry, Parker, Brinley, Corbin,

Addison and Ledger, attending their various sporting events

and activities. He is active in his church and enjoys working

on cars, riding dirt bikes, home remodeling projects,

camping and pretty much anything outdoors.

where he currently resides with his family.

Grant Meyer, Warehouse Manager

Grant Meyer has worked for Carpet One

Floor & Home for over 10 years. He enjoys

being the warehouse supervisor and serving

customers and installers in that capacity.

He is a long time resident of Union County

having been raised in Elgin, and enjoys living

in Eastern Oregon. He enjoys time spent outdoors

doing things like driving back roads, Hiking and

Camping. He is married to his best friend Liz

and they enjoy their time together doing

what ever they do. They have two children

and two grand daughters. Grant enjoys

serving customers and improving the

work environment with humor.

Sheri Clemens, Sales Support Specialist

Sheri Clemens is a multi-functioning employee

at Carpet One Floor and Home. She began in

sales in 2011 and since has become the pricing

and organizational person for the store. She helps

with set up and maintenance of displays, updating

and pricing of most products. She also performs

clerical duties, helps with the showroom marketing

and appearance. She’s recently been assigned some

of the ordering and receiving of stock materials. She’s

used her creativity to help design the new layout for

the stores show room floor and also designed the

plant area outside the store front. She loves to consult

with customers on colors and designs.

Sheri has been a member of the La Grande community

since 1981. After meeting and marring a local La Grande

boy at Brigham Young University of Utah, they moved

back to his home town to raise their family. Being

raised in a larger city, she has preferred raising

their children in a small home town community.

She enjoys the out of doors, gardening, serving

in her church and best of all playing with her grandchildren.

In Joshua’s past experience, he thoroughly enjoyed

working with customers and building new relationships.

His passion is to build and use his skills to obtain a career

that he and his family could be proud of. With the support

of his wife of five years, Joshua has helped to put customers

first.Joshua has two children, and in his free time, he enjoys

staying active in church, local community events, and attending

his kids’ sporting events, going to visit family in Portland,

visiting the beach, exploring the outdoors of Eastern

Oregon, hiking, and eating froyo.

Jason Isaacson, Sales Manager

Jason Isaacson was born and raised in La Grande,

Oregon. In 2001 he earned a Bachelor of Arts from

BYU Earth and Space Science Education. After

teaching and coaching for 9 years in both Oregon

and Wyoming he moved out of the educational

world and began a career in management. The last

6 years he has managed production lines in both

plywood and pine mills working on process improvement

and efficiency. He is the current Sales Manager for both

the La Grande and Enterprise stores. He lives in La Grande

with his wife Kimberly and their 6 children; Tyler, Corey,

Abbie, Cole, Jared, and Lyndie. They spend their time

in the mountains of northeast Oregon fishing, hiking,

hunting, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Sherman Sharrard, Sales Professional

Sherman Sharrard: was born and raised in La Grande

Oregon. He graduated high school in 1998, and at the

time was working for Fashion Floor/Carpet One part time

in their warehouse and then for the next 3 years worked

full time. He moved to Eugene Oregon for a couple of

years and he worked in a distributor warehouse. He got

the opportunity to come back to La Grande in 2004

and started back with Carpet One Floor & Home working

in sales. He is married to Rebekah and has 3 wonderful

children Quinntan, Ada and Lincoln.

Sherman has really enjoyed being at Carpet One

Floor & Home, and enjoys working with the other

employees and getting to know so many contractors

and customers that he serves on daily basis.

Carol Murphy, Sales Professional

Carol Murphy in one of our Carpet One Sales Professionals.

She started working at Carpet One in September of 2011,

earning her certificate for Certified Flooring Consultant in

February 2012. Before Carpet One she was a stay at home

mom raising 4 boys. In her spare time she enjoys quilting,

gardening and spending time with her family, especially

her grandchildren. Carol also enjoys fishing, hunting,

berry & mushroom picking and going for drives enjoying

the beauties of our great state. She also enjoys traveling

and has visited Russia, Mexico and Canada. Carol

enjoys working with youth and has been involved

with Boy Scouts of America for many years.
